OhioMHAS-certified CBHCs can request reimbursement for $3,000 as a hiring bonus to recently hired direct-care BH professionals returning to the workforce.

In addition to the bonus reimbursement, approved CBHCs will also receive $300 to help offset administrative costs associated with processing and delivering the hiring bonus.

CBHCs must verify previous BH employment, and that employment could not have been more recent than the previous 30 days. Previous work had to have been in a direct-care role.

CBHCs must provide the full bonus payment prior to seeking reimbursement for these costs.
