Great Minds Fellows CBHC Internship Site Support Program
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Health Impact Ohio (HIO) to support Certified Community Based Behavioral Health Centers who host Great Minds Fellows as interns through reimbursement. Reimbursement Request Process:
Certified CBHCs submit a reimbursement request for any approved Great Mind Fellows they host as interns.
CBHCs are eligible to receive up to $5,000 for each Great Mind Fellows intern they host, one time per intern, regardless of the duration of the internship.
To ensure eligibility for support funding, CBHCs must obtain a copy of the signed GMF Student Agreement. This agreement must have both the student's and the academic institution's signature lines completed.
The funding timeline for this effort will be:
-2025 Summer Semester for juniors added in the 2024-2025 academic year.
-2025 Fall Semester for seniors added as juniors in the 2024-2025 academic year.
-2026 Spring Semester for graduating seniors added in the 2024-2025 academic year.
